Women's soccer continues win streak, soars to 8th in SoCal

The Miramar women's soccer team continued its hot streak, logging its 5th and 6th wins in a row, over Mt. San Jacinto and Imperial Valley. The winning streak has lifted the Lady Jets to 8th in the latest CCCAA SoCal regional rankings.

In the 1-0 win over MSJC, Karolina Salazar scored the game's only goal in the 68th minute. Stephanie Carlson logged five saves in the shutout win. In the 9-0 victory over Imperial, Miramar got goals from Salazar, Taylor Wolever, Kayleigh Farrell, Hayden Kelley (twice), Danielle Westerlund, Sierra Hall, Jade Bugsch, and Jessica Gonzalez. The Lady Jets defense allowed no shots on goal to the Lady Arabs.

Miramar WSOC has not lost since September 5th, going 12-0-2 in that time..
