7th Annual Don Gehler Memorial Basketball Tournament Winners!

San Diego Miramar College's Men's Basketball Team hosted and WON the 7th Annual Don Gehler Memorial Tournament last weekend. 

The Jets began the tournament matched up against Rio Hondo College.  They defeated the Roadrunners 91-85.  On day two of the tournament, the Jets were scheduled to play the Palomar College.  The Jets defeated the Comets 86-61 advancing to the Championship game Saturday.  Saturday was the final day of the tournament.  Santa Monica College was matched up against the Jets.  The Championship game was full of energy and high intensity basketball.  SMC led most of the game by a small margin.  Late in the second half, the Jets took the lead and didn't look back.  Miramar College defeated Santa Monica College 85-79 becoming the 7th Annual Don Gehler Memorial Basketball Tournament CHAMPIONS!

The Miramar Jets are 3-0 to start their season!
